What people say

Some of the feed back we have had so far…

Clive I can’t thank you enough for supporting us to set up the equality and human rights training for our Governing Body and Senior Managers. Your input has been invaluable in assisting the Organisation to meet its equality duties. This led to our own and I think one of the first CCG EDS scrutiny events  which you helped to facilitate and what a great day it was. I will be very happy to pass on your details and recommend you as a really positive, direct and engaging facilitator who is always at the end of a phone for guidance and advice. On behalf of Wigan Borough Clinical Commissioning Group I thank you.

Tracie Smith, Quality Improvement Manager/Equality and Diversity Lead, WBCCG

Clive is a charismatic, influential leader.  He has worked closely with a diverse range of staff groups and working at grass roots level is just as important to him as working strategically. I have always been really supportive of his basic approach for dignity and respect for each individual and this fits so well with our Trust values and compassionate care.

Professor Heather Tierney-Moore MBE, Chief Executive Officer, Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust

The positive contribution and support from Clive Taylor in helping Lancashire Constabulary around Equality and Diversity issues has been invaluable. His knowledge, especially with regard to LGB&T issues, has helped us to make real progress. He has also been a ‘critical friend’ to the Constabulary and to me personally by always being willing to give good advice and support in a constructive and meaningful way.

R. J. Eastwood (LLB Hons) , Chief Superintendent, Lancashire Constabulary

Clive’s skills and experience go beyond training, he has an in depth knowledge of human rights, equality and diversity issues and can advise, train, engage and support organizations at every level from grass roots support through to policy level.

Melanie Close, Chief Executive Officer , Disability Equality North West

Clive Taylor of Indigo You was contracted to carry out a time limited piece of work on behalf of the Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Group, this was to support the E&I Lead in supporting two Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs)to undertake their annual Equality Delivery System (EDS2) Grading. Clive’s role was to work with key personnel in the CCG to pull together evidence of equality outcomes for people across the nine protected characteristic groups, deliver training to community representatives as EDS2 graders prior to the actual grading of evidence and then once grading had been completed to draft a report of the findings including analysis and recommendations for the CCGs. Clive carried out this work with a professional approach which delivered the desired results and we would work with Clive and Indigo You again in the future.

Thanks Clive for supporting us to set up the equality and human rights training for our senior managers, service directors and Leaders. Your input has been invaluable in assisting the Trust to meet its equality duties and to set out a positive vibe to instil action for equality and human rights across the Trust. I will be very happy to pass on your details and recommend you as a really positive, direct and engaging facilitator.

Every taboo and stereo-type is dissected and dismantled by Clive in a very honest and balanced way; treating issues with respect and prejudices with disdain. Choose Clive Taylor and Indigo You for your equality training and I can guarantee an experience you won’t easily forget.

Jennifer Carthy, Neighbourhood Manager, Preston City Council

He can think ‘out of the box’ and really engage people by being innovative in his approach, making it so enjoyable for people to learn and to participate in the sessions he facilitates.

Julie Patel, Lead for older people’s psychology service, Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust

I’ve known Clive since 1994. In that time he has been a passionate and committed advocate for LGB and T communities. I have found hi to be a man of integrity with a vision of a World free from homophobia and other discrimination. I have absolutely no hesitation in whole-heartedly recommending him to you and I guarantee that he will help you achieve the results you are looking for.

Paul Martin OBE, Chief Executive Officer, Lesbian and Gay Foundation

His training is delivered with feeling and in a way that all enjoy, relate to and can learn from.  From the information he taught me, as an organisation we have been able to develop and deliver training that has benefitted managers and staff alike, and in turn will benefit too the patients we serve.

Shaun Proctor  MC Para, Senior Training Manager, North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust

I would personally advise and recommend to any organisation who is looking to enhance their current remit to ‘Equality & Diversity’ to employ the services of Mr Clive Taylor. He’s dynamic and thorough in his approach and brilliant at bringing about positive change within any organisation seeking his knowledge and expertise in this field.

Drew Dewing Drake – Older & Out Coordinator / Age Concern Central Lancashire

Clive, you are an amazing Leader, a compassionate person with flair and charisma. You always do the right thing and appear able to find that balance between facilitating very difficult issues and whilst never shying away from being bold and up front when you need to be, challenging poor practice, inequality and sometimes ridiculous assumptions from others.

Samantha Jarvis, Team Manager, Pendle Healthy Minds Team

Working with Clive has been an experience of learning and development that has improved my own awareness.  Clive is knowledgeable, approachable and an advocate of developing opportunities and best working practices to benefit communities that are at a disadvantage because of their ethnicity, orientation or background.

Jal Iqbal, Community Development Worker, Community Restart Team

Clive Taylor was my manager from June 2011 – June 2013.  I found Clive to be very fair and treated me as an equal, there was no hierarchy.  Clive has always been 100% behind my personal development and in a very short space of time I felt that I’d grown within the role at a rapid pace which also gave me confidence.

Joe McMahon, Workforce Administrator, Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust

I want you to know how much I have learned from you on the 5 day course you facilitated and I am indebted to you for asking me to deliver the E&D talks to the junior doctors. You have been very supportive towards me.
